Yoga Instruction
Hatha, Pranayama, Meditation

My relationship with yoga is lived. It informs how I move, work, travel, and relate to the world around me. I first discovered yoga at the age of 15, when I picked up a copy of Light on Yoga and began practicing on my own. In my late teens and early twenties, I began studying with teachers, and yoga has remained a constant presence in my life ever since. I have now been practicing for more than 40 years and teaching since 1999. Along the way, yoga has been one of my deepest teachers, healers, and guides.
My teaching is rooted in traditional Kriya Yoga, the lineage of my first mentor, Baba Hari Dass, whose influence continues to guide both my personal practice and the way I teach.
I have completed more than 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training in the U.S. and India, studying with respected instructors in the Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Hatha traditions. This diverse training has given me a strong foundation in alignment, structure, and intelligent sequencing, while deepening my understanding of yoga as an integrated practice.
I teach Hatha Yoga through asana, pranayama, and meditation, adapting my teaching to different bodies, levels, and stages of life. I emphasize mindful practice, intelligent movement, and developing a deeper awareness of oneself through yoga. I am especially interested in supporting aging bodies in maintaining strength, stability, mobility, and vitality over the long term.
“If you work on yoga, yoga will work on you.” — Baba Hari Dass
